What is bilona cow ghee?

Bilona is the traditional method: cow milk is set into curd overnight, Churned in a wooden bilona to separate the butter, then slow-cooked on a low flame into ghee. It is what most people mean by desi ghee — grainy, aromatic and made without shortcuts.

How is Gramyra bilona ghee different from regular ghee?

Most commercial ghee is made by the direct-cream method from mixed milk. Ours uses only cow milk from grass-fed indigenous cows, cultured curd, slow wooden bilona churning and low-flame cooking — no additives, no palm oil, no colour.

How should I store the ghee?

Keep your jar at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Always use a clean, dry spoon. There's no need to refrigerate — pure ghee stays fresh for up to 12 months.

We ship pan-India. Most orders are delivered within 3–6 business days, securely packed to keep your glass jar safe in transit.

Is it suitable for those who are lactose-sensitive?

Traditional bilona ghee separates the milk solids, leaving the fat almost entirely free of lactose and casein — most lactose-sensitive customers tolerate it well. If you have a medical concern, please consult your doctor first.

Do you accept returns?

Because ghee is a consumable food product, we cannot accept returns once the jar is opened. If your jar arrived damaged, write to us within 48 hours and we'll replace it free of charge.

I honestly didn’t expect ghee to make this much of a difference, Sach bolu toh pehle laga ghee toh ghee hi hota hai. 😅 But Gramyra try karne ke baad pata chala asli difference kya hota hai.
